Annual National Model Lifeboat Rally

14-15 June 2008

Competitor information

Please drive up to the signposted Rally entrance. A marshal will direct you to the Control, after booking in, you should unload your model/s onto the provided tables- subject to availability (or your own if you wish- see below) and then park your vehicle in VICTORIA PARK, car park which will be signposted (approx.100 metres away).

*****For Health and Safety reasons, It is IMPORTANT that you do not abandon your vehicle at the Rally Entrance area. *****

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU COLLECT A FREE PARKING PERMIT
You are welcome to bring your own Gazebo and tables but please check with the Groundsman (Ray Bates) BEFORE erecting (Ideally pre-book with your requirements to avoid disappointment)
****As this is the 30th Anniversary,Space will be at a premium- with pre-book spaces taking priority****
It is also your responsibility to ensure the safety and secure pegging of your gazebo.

You can also really help by having the correct money when booking in!

Pre-book entries must be received by 5th June 2007

Even if you are not competing but just simply wish to sail or display your boat then you will still need to log in at Control.

Remember, the event is in support of the R.N.L.I. and S.O.R.T. (Southport Offshore Rescue Trust)

Cost is only £3.00 for your first model then £1.00 for additional models per Day (£2.00 then £1.00 for Juniors)

(Which also includes an Attendance plaque, subject to availability on the Day)

Competitor log in from 9.30am to 11.00am -both days. If you have not pre- booked then PLEASE be patient , control will be busy!
